“Anyone Can Revolt. It Is More Difficult Silently to Obey Our Own Inner Promptings…”

“Anyone can revolt. It is more difficult silently to obey our own inner promptings, and to spend our lives finding sincere and fitting means of expression for our temperament and our gifts.”
— Georges Rouault

* Last night I had a great time meeting Isabel Kallman, a/k/a AlphaMom. A great site if you’re an alphamom.

* I’m preparing a new version of the book video for The Happiness Project, with resolutions proposed by readers in place of my resolutions. If you haven’t seen the current version, listing many of my favorite resolutions, it’s here.

  1. Hi Gretchen. I just found you after having your book sex money fame and power for a long time. I am a very big fan of your work. Gretchen, you wrote on your website a section sex tips for men, though I am not looking to court any women, I would like to just be more confident around them. Could you please help. My issue is that I am only 5’2, and would like to know how your research into what women find appealing can help me overcome my height. I find that my height has been a big hindrance. Please let me know what I can do to work around my height and be more sexually appealing. By the way I am about 142lbs. and somewhat of an athletic build. Thanks. I would love to hear back from you.

  2. Nice quote! Thanks for sharing. My inner promptings are always yelling at me. Sometimes they motivate me and sometimes they make me feel like I am raising my expectations too high.
