“Happiness Iss No Vague Dream, of That I Now Feel Certain.”

“One is happy as a result of one’s own efforts, once one knows…the necessary ingredients of happiness—simple tastes, a certain degree of courage, self-denial to a point, love of work, and, above all, a clear conscience. Happiness is no vague dream, of that I now feel certain.”
–George Sand

Interesting quote. That really does sound like an amazing recipe for happiness but each of them are very difficult in itself.

Oh, so true, so clear to me now at age 75. A challenge at times, as in now when I have developed a case of Shingles. It would be easy to give into the pain and to be miserable. The Happiness Project is helping me stay focussed on what is really important. Thank you Gretchen!

I write a blog about the things that make me happy. This way I focus on what it is around me that I love. It Is All About What You Love – http://www.findinglights.com

Come see it! Focusing on the things I love, such as music that I love to listen to, sports that I love, I found a way to increase my own happiness and I would love to share it with You! Because it worked! All the best, Maria
